Troubleshooting error messages
From Doc
Below are a few of the error messages you may see when using Phanfare along with their common causes and solutions:
Unable to Publish Error: This error occurs in the Windows desktop client when the client is trying to process some action such as an upload, image copy, image rotation, image deletion, etc. and has hit an error and can not proceed with the action. If you receive this error just once and are able to hit ignore and have the error go away, you will want to go back to the last few actions you took to make sure that your changes are reflected on your actual website URL and not just in the desktop client.
If you are unable to clear the error, it is likely that somehow the desktop client got out of sync with the service. To rectify the error, you need to clear the local cache and resync with our servers. However, in so doing, you may lose any work that you do not see reflected on your site at the time you hit the error. If you were in the middle of an upload, please make sure you have the images and/or video clips stored locally still so you can re-add if necessary. If you have deleted all local copies of the content (thinking the upload to Phanfare was successful) please contact Phanfare support before proceeding with the steps below.
To clear the error, exit out of Phanfare and start again by going to Start-->All programs->Phanfare 2.0 and choose the safe mode option. Login and upon launch give it several minutes to resync with our servers and re-download all album information and thumbnails. Then, try to proceed with managing your albums or uploading new content.
