You can share individual images or entire albums with others using Photon. You can also invite people to connect with you as friends or family on Phanfare so they view all albums you have designated for viewing by friends or family and also view on your iPhone any content they in turn upload to Phanfare.

Sharing an individual image

1. Select the album the image is in
2. Select the image thumbnail
3. Select the square icon with the arrow coming out of it from the bottom nav (second icon from left). This will give you several options:
   • Save to iPhone Photos
   • Assign to Contact
   • Email Photo
4. Type in the email address of the recipient or select the blue circle/arrow icon to pick from iPhone contacts or Phanfare contacts, enter a subject and a message, and hit send.

Note: The image is embedded in the email. It is not sent as an attachment.

Sharing a single album

1. Select the album you want to share
2. Select the square icon with the pen from the bottom nav (far right)
3. Type in the email address of the recipient or select the blue circle/arrow icon to pick from iPhone contacts or Phanfare contacts, alter the subject if needed and type any personal message.
4. Hit send. Recipients will receive an email with a link to the album.

Connecting to people as friends or family

Within Phanfare, you can connect to people as friends or family. The benefits of connecting with someone are:

• They have access to view all the albums you have posted as open to friends and family. You don't have to share just one album at a time with them.
• They receive automatic updates via email when you post a new album that is shared with them (you can turn this off if you choose).
• When they are logged in and view your albums, you see their name in your visitor reporting instead of anonymous visitor.
  
  

Inviting someone to connect

To add someone as a friend or family connection:

1. Launch Photon and select the People icon from the bottom nav bar
2. By default, your news feed displays. Select the blue People button to the right of News
3. If you have friends or family connections, a list of them will display
4. To add a friend or family member, select the plus sign on the upper right of the screen. It will present two options:
   • Choose iPhone Contact
   • Enter email address
5. After selecting a contact or entering an email address, select the invite button
6. Customize the subject and message and choose whether to invite as family or friend.

Viewing a connection's albums

1. Launch Photon and select the People icon from the bottom nav bar
2. By default, your news feed displays. Select the blue People button to the right of News
3. Select a person from your friend and family list
4. Any albums they have shared with you will appear
5. Select Albums from botton nav bar to return to your album listing or People to return to your friends and family list.
