Setting Slideshow Defaults

You can change the default settings for all future slideshows you create. To change an existing slideshow, see Changing Album Properties.

Using Your Phanfare home page

1. Go to http://www.phanfare.com
2. Click on "Settings" on the header and then click on Shared Album Settings under Presentation Options.
3. Under Slideshow Defaults for New Albums, use the pulldown menu to change the music setting applied to all future slideshows
4. To disable any of the following slideshow effects, uncheck the box next to:
   • New albums created with slideshow effects enabled (Pan and zoom effects)
   • New albums created with video-in-slideshow enabled (video appears in slideshow)
   • New albums created with slideshow looping enabled
5. Use the pulldown menu to select the length of time each image is shown on the screen applied to all future slideshows
6. Click "Save"
7. A message will appear "Your presentation options have been saved"
8. Click on "home" on the header to return to your Phanfare home page (http://www.phanfare.com).

Using the Windows Desktop Application

1. Click on the "Settings" menu button and select "Program Options"
2. Click on the Album Defaults tab
3. To disable any of the following slideshow effects, uncheck the box next to:
   • Enable zooming and panning effects
   • Include videos in slideshows
   • Enable slideshow looping
4. Use the slider bar to select the length of time each image is shown on the screen - applied to all future slideshows
5. Click on "Choose" to select a default track applied to all future slideshows
   • Select a different track by highlighting it and clicking "Use Selected Track". You can preview your selection after you click "Use Selected Track".
   • To turn off music in the slideshow, select the "Do not play any music" option at the top
6. To preview your track selection, click on the play button
7. Click on "Music Library" to open your music library and import your own music
8. Click "Save"

Using the Mac Desktop Application

1. Click on the "Presentation Options" menu button on the top left.
2. Scroll down to the "Slideshow Defaults" section of the options page.
3. To disable any of the following slideshow effects, uncheck the box next to:
   • Enable zooming and panning effects
   • Include videos in slideshows
   • Enable slideshow looping
4. Use the slider bar to select the length of time each image is shown on the screen - applied to all future slideshows
5. Click on "Choose" to select a default track applied to all future slideshows
   • Select a different track by highlighting it and clicking "Use Selected Track". You can preview your selection after you click "Use Selected Track".
   • To turn off music in the slideshow, select the "Do not play any music" option at the top
6. To preview your track selection, click on the play button
7. Click on "Music Library" to open your music library and import your own music
8. Click "Save"
