The Phanfare Home Page

The Phanfare Home page is a new, Web-based way to manage your photos. Accessing your Phanfare account has never been easier! Simply log in to the home page with your e-mail address and password, and your Phanfare account is at your fingertips. Read more.

Improved desktop client applications

The Mac and Windows desktop clients have been updated for greater usability and connectivity. Including new user interfaces, a thumbnail zoom feature, and a streamlined connection to our servers, the Phanfare desktop clients offer full management of your Phanfare account.

Sharing with friends and family

We've enhanced sharing. Your friends and family will no longer have to remember passwords, and you won't have to worry about site security. Want someone to view some albums but not others? No problem under the new sharing setup.

When you create albums, you choose whether to share with friends, family or specific groups (or no one). You then invite people to connect with you as a family member or a friend. They get an email from you asking them to register to be able to see your albums now and in the future. They can also receive automatic email updates when you add new photos and videos to your shared albums and their own free Phanfare account with storage up to 1GB. Read more.

Groups

Want to share albums with a group of friends? Maybe you want all the participants in an event to share their pictures with each other? The new Phanfare groups feature lets you do just that! Simply create a group and invite people to join, and you're on your way. Read more.

Album comments

The album comments feature lets you leave a public message on any albums in your friend or family member's Phanfare website. Now you can instantly compliment the photographer or share a special memory. Read more.

Visitor reporting

Want to know who is looking at your albums? We have improved our visitor reporting system to tell you which of your friends and family have viewed your albums. The reports also tell you which albums have been viewed. Read more.

Trash Can

The Windows and Mac desktop clients now include a trash can. Accidentally delete something? You can retrieve it from the trash can for up to 14 days. Read more.
