Mobile Image Import

From Doc

You can email photos and videos from a computer or camera cell phone to your Phanfare account. This feature provides convenient mobile access to Phanfare. Phanfare lets you set a special mobile photos email address. The address is made up of your web address plus a special password you set. Images and videos will appear in a new "Mobile Photos" album.

Helpful Hints

  • We will accept emails with up to 20MB of attachments, but your email provider might enforce significantly lower limits.
  • If you use a Mac to email your photos and use Apple's Mail.app program, you must check the box to "maintain compatibility with Windows" when sending multiple attachments. If only sending one attachment, this box does not need to be checked.
  • Make sure the Phanfare mobile photos email address is listed first on the "to" line.
  • The subject of the email will become the caption of the photo(s).
  • If you rename the Mobile Photos album, it will no longer be the repository for emailed pictures. Instead, Phanfare will create a new Mobile Photos album then next time emailed photos arrive.
  • Sprint currently doesn't let customers email photos and videos directly from a mobile phone to a non-Sprint phone email address. Instead, you're mailed a link to see the photo or video on Sprint's Picture Mail service. For this reason, these phones cannot be used to send photos and videos to Phanfare.
