Engineering
Web GUI Engineer
Required Skills
- BS or higher in computer science or closely related field.
- Extremely solid foundation in fundamentals of computer science.
- Experience building AJAX web apps
- Solid object-oriented coding skills (preferably C#)
- Significant experience developing web applications (preferably with ASP.NET)
- Experience with core web technologies including HTML, CSS, WebServices, JavaScript
- Good design sense. You don't need to be a designer, but you should think like one.
Pluses
- Experience developing Flash applications using ActionScript
- Experience with Yahoo's YUI toolkit
- Graphic and/or user interface design skills
Job responsibilities include extending and improving Phanfare's front end web tools and web album presentation
Software Engineer, Flash
Required Skills
- BS or higher in computer science or closely related field.
- Extremely solid foundation in fundamentals of computer science.
- Solid object-oriented coding skill s (preferably C#)
- Significant experience developing flash applications; looking for someone who can program Flash Actionscript 3. Aesthetic level design is usually done by artistic types.
- Some experience with core web technologies including HTML, CSS, WebServices, JavaScript

Job responsibilities include extending and improving Phanfare's front end web tools and building next generation lean-forward viewing tools that allows users to explore their social graph while viewing photos and videos.
Engineer, Automated Test and Quality Assurance
This is not a "QA Tester" position. This is an Engineering position for a person who will head up our automated testing by creating infrastructure, automation, and diags for automated testing of the Phanfare system.
Required Skills
- BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, EE or closely related field
- Extremely solid foundation in fundamentals of computer science
- Solid C/C++ coding skills
- Some experience programming in a Unix/Linux or Mac OS X environment
- Ability to automate testing of complex systems
- Attention to detail
Pluses

Customer Support (Wentzville, MO)
Job Description
Using Phanfare’s customer support management system, the Customer Support Representative (CSR) provides technical and product support to Phanfare customers via email and phone. You will answer questions from potential and current Phanfare customers, resolve customer issues, and open and close customer support tickets. You will be responsible for providing rapid response to all support requests, attempting to reproduce problems, escalating tickets when necessary, and following up with both engineering and customers to determine if requests were handled to the customer’s satisfaction.
You will work set hours each 40 hour week. Currently, phone support hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST Monday through Friday. Email support runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility in the schedule but applicants should be able to either work full-time during the day or full-time with a combination of day and night hours. Occasional work from home (depending on home Internet connection) may be allowed when training period is complete but must be able to commute to Wentzville office as needed. Benefits are offered for this full-time position.
Required Experience and Skills
- Must have basic computing skills and be completely comfortable on the computer. Must be Internet savvy with at least a general understanding of online photo and video sharing.
- No experience doing technical support required. This is a position where having an interest in the topic, being a quick learner, and being dedicated to helping customers is more important than having past experience. We will train you on how to use the ticket system and answer questions.
- Mac experience a plus. However, more important is a willingness to learn basics of both platforms.
- Extraordinary troubleshooting skills and diligence
