International character support
From Doc
|
Phanfare supports most languages that are installed by default on a Mac and PC in most areas of your Phanfare website. Currently, the two main areas that don't support international characters are captions in the slideshow and the text on the Table of Contents and bottom navigation bar. However, you can put international characters in your website title, album names, website welcome, album descriptions, and captions below your individual images.
We support non-US characters (Unicode) for all styles except our wedding styles, which use fonts that do not contain all international characters.
Email invitations also support international characters.
If you use a PC
Under windows, you need to first enable your international character set of choice.
- Choose Start->Control Panels
- Open up Regional and Language options
- Click on Languages tab
- Click on Details button
- Click on Add
- Add the language of your choice
- A small language icon will appear in your taskbar near the system tray.
- With Phanfare Photo up and running, change the input language to the language of your choice.
If you use a Mac
Under Mac OS X, you must first enable the specific language keyboard.
- Open up the System Preferences under the Apple menu
- Choose the International control panel
- Go to input tab
- Check the keyboard of choice.
- Open up Phanfare Photo.
- There should be a little flag in the menu bar, top right. Choose the input language you would like.
