Facebook Application

The Phanfare Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2384778623) application allows you to show your Phanfare photos and video albums to your Facebook friends.
Installation
- Log into your Phanfare (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx) account.
- Go to the Facebook application’s (http://www.phanfare.com/apps.aspx?pg=Facebook) page and click the ‘Go to the Facebook Setup Wizard’ link.
- The Facebook setup wizard is a three-step process.
Displaying your videos
- Login to your Phanfare account (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx).
- Click on "Edit albums" on the left.
- Select the album you would like to share the video from.
- Select the video.
- Click on "Share Album"
- Click on "Share on Facebook"
- Another window will pop-up.
- Select between two sharing options:
- Post the video to your profile. (Note: The video will be posted to your Facebook wall.)
- Send a message to your friends.
- Click "Post"
Displaying your photos
Method #1 Create Facebook Albums (Recommended)
- Login to your Phanfare account (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx).
- Click on "Edit albums" on the left.
- Select the album you would like to share the photos from.
- Select the all the photos you wish to add to your Facebook albums.
- Click on "Share Album"
- Click on "Share on Facebook"
- Note: Each Facebook album can hold up to 60 photos. If you select more than 60 photos multiple Facebook albums will be created.
- Select the Facebook account you wish to send the pictures to and select who can see the album.
- Click "Send"
Method #2 Links to Phanfare Albums
- Profile Box
- 1) Click the applications menu on the bottom of any Facebook page and then click 'edit'.
- 2) Find the Phanfare application in your list of applications and click 'edit'.
- 3) Select 'Profile' and click 'add' next to 'Box' and/or 'Tab'. Selecting 'Box' adds the Phanfare application to the 'Boxes' tab and selecting 'Tab' adds the Phanfare application to a tab called 'Phanfare'.
- On Your Wall
- 1) The Facebook application must first be added to the 'Boxes' tab before it can be displayed on your wall. It will be removed from the 'Boxes' tab once you move it to the wall.
- 2) Select the tab that contains the Facebook application.
- 3) Click the pencil icon on the top right corner of the Facebook application. Then click 'Move to Wall tab'. The Facebook application will now be displayed on your wall. When the Facebook application is placed on your wall, only three albums may be displayed at a time.
- Shared Album Settings
- After installing the Facebook application and linking it to your Phanfare account, you can change what categories you want available to view on your Facebook profile page (Friends, Family, and any groups you've created), whether albums should be displayed based on the most recently updated albums or the most recent dated albums, and how many albums you want to be viewable from your Facebook profile page:
- 1) You can login to your Phanfare home page (http://www.phanfare.com)
- 2) Go to Settings on the header.
- 3) Click the Facebook Application (http://www.phanfare.com/fb/FacebookSettings.aspx) link under Presentation Options.
- Hint: If you want to share a small group of albums to your Facebook page, but not all your friends or family albums, you can create a small group on Phanfare called "Facebook" and just share those albums with that group. Then set up the application to only show albums shared with "Facebook."
Removing the application
- Click the applications menu on the bottom of any Facebook page and then click 'edit'.
- Find the Phanfare application in your list of applications and click 'Remove'.
- Click 'Remove' again to completely remove the application.
