External Link

You are able to get an external link for any Phanfare album. The link will give the viewer access to only that album and not require that the viewer know any site password (if applicable) or have a login. It doesn't matter if the album is published or unpublished.

Visits to albums from external links are counted as unnamed visitors in your visitor reports.

Using Web-browser client

1. Sign into Phanfare (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx)
2. Click photos and videos-->edit albums from the header
3. Select the album you wish to get the link for
4. Click on "Share Album" and choose "Get Link to Album". A window will appear containing the link.
5. To copy and paste the link, highlight the link and enter CTRL + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac) to copy the link.
6. To paste the link in the desired location, enter CTRL + V (Windows) or Command + V (Mac) to paste.

Using the Windows desktop application

1. Right click the album you want to link to.
2. Choose external link:
3. You will be presented with two options:
   • Copy to Clipboard: Copies the isolated link to the clipboard for you to paste into an e-mail or other document.
   • Close: Cancels the action.

Using Mac desktop application

1. Select the album you want to link to.
2. Go up to Album on the top menu and choose Album Options
3. Scroll down to Advanced section and click "Create External Link to this Album."
4. Copy to clipboard
