Embedding images and videos in other sites

You are able to embed images and videos in other sites, such as in a blog, auction, or forum.

Currently the ability to embed photos and videos is available in the Windows desktop application and on the web at http://www.phanfare.com.

To create a link to embed a photo on the Windows application:

1. Right click on the image you want to embed.
2. Choose Item Properties.
3. Click on the External Link button and choose "Web Size" or "Full Size".
4. Choose Copy Link to Clipboard.
5. Paste the link where you want to embed it.

To create a link to embed a photo using the web:

1. Login at http://www.phanfare.com.login.aspx.
2. Go to photos and videos on the header-->edit albums.
3. Select the album in which the photo has been uploaded.
4. Select the thumbnail for the photo you want to embed.
5. Click the Image Link button at bottom.
6. Copy the Web-size or Full-size external link to the clipboard.
7. Paste the link where you want to embed it.
8. Note: You may need to add a .jpg to the end of the link in order to get it to embed in some forums, bulletin boards, etc.

To create a link to embed a video on the Windows application:

1. Right click on the image you want to embed.
2. Choose Item Properties.
3. Click on the Embed Video button.
4. Choose "Copy Javascript" or "Copy Object/Embed HTML"
5. Paste the clipboard data where needed.

To create a link to embed a video using the web:

1. Login at http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx
2. Select photos and videos on the header-->edit albums
3. Select the album in which the video has been uploaded.
4. Select the thumbnail for the video you want to embed.
5. Click the Video Link button at bottom.
6. Copy the JavaScript or Object/Embed HTML external link to the clipboard.
7. Paste the link where you want to embed it.

If you simply want to link to a specific Phanfare album from another site, you can use the external link feature to do this as explained here.
