Drop Box

Phanfare's drop box allows you to receive high resolution photos and videos from others.
You can have a drop box for your main site and any Subsites. The drop box will appear at yourname.phanfare.com/dropbox. When photos and videos are dropped off, you will receive email.
There is no limit to how much you can receive via the drop box. Each time you get a drop off, Phanfare creates a new unpublished album with the photos and videos. In addition, there is a limit of 500 images per drop off.
All Phanfare customers, both Premium and Pro have drop boxes and the storage used by drop boxes is included in your annual fee (unlimited storage).

Subsites can have drop boxes too. So, if you have a subsite called yourname.phanfare.com/soccer then the drop box will appear at yourname.phanfare.com/soccer/dropbox.
You can control whether any given subsite has a drop box. To get to your drop box, the person must be able to get to the site associated with that drop box.
Enable Drop Box
- Login to Phanfare (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx)
- Navigate to the Site or Subsite (http://help.phanfare.com/manual/propsites.html) of interest on the left hand navigator
- Click on a site below
- Go to the far right and expand "Security and Privacy"
- Check the box that allows viewers to drop off files
- Click on the "Link to Drop Box" button that appears
- Share the link with family and friends using your personal e-mail
Disable Drop Box
- Login to Phanfare (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx)
- Navigate to the Site or Subsite (http://help.phanfare.com/manual/propsites.html) of interest on the left hand navigator
- Click on a site below
- Go to the far right and expand "Security and Privacy"
- Uncheck the box that allows viewers to drop off files
