Q: How do I delete an individual image or video?
You can delete an image or video using the web-browser client at www.phanfare.com or via the desktop application. When deleting an image or video using the desktop application, you have the option of placing the image or video in the recycle bin and later restoring it. It will be permanently deleted from the recycle bin after 14 days.
Deleting images/videos from the web-browser client.
- Click on the album name under "Edit Albums" to bring up the album properties page.
- Check the box of any images or videos you want to delete.
- Click the “Delete" button located bottom right.
- Choose whether to move the images or videos to the recycle bin or to delete forever. Images and videos moved to the recycle bin will be available to restore for 14 days.
- You will automatically be taken back to your Phanfare home page.
Deleting images/videos from the desktop application
- Highlight the album in which the image or video you want to delete is contained, then highlight the image you want to delete (select multiple images using the Shift and Ctrl keys).
- Click the Delete button on the lower right of the desktop application, or right click on the selected images/videos and choose Delete.
- Choose whether to move the images or videos to the recycle bin or to delete forever. Images and videos moved to the recycle bin will be available to restore for 14 days.
Q: How do I undelete or restore an individual image or video?
If you choose to move an image or video to the recycle bin instead of deleting it forever, it will be restorable for 14 days. To restore an image or video from the recycle bin, select the recycle bin from the album listing on the left of the desktop application. You can drag any images or videos from the recycle bin into any available albums in your account.
