Dating Phanfare albums

When creating a new album or editing the album properties on an existing album, you have the choice of three dating option:

Automatically detect date from images: This option will date the album according to the timestamp the images get from the camera. If your date is set incorrectly on your camera or you add pictures at a later date to the album that have a different or incorrect date, the date on the album will change. If you add pictures in the album from a range of dates, a date range will appear on your album. Albums with a range are listed in order of their starting date and year.

Specify album date: If you choose this option, a start date and end date box option will appear. You must choose a start date, but do not need to choose an end date if you wan the album just to have a single date. Click the calendar icon to the right of the box to use a calendar to select the date.

Don't date the album: Choosing this option will automatically file the album under a heading on your site that is called "Timeless" by default. All timeless albums are ordered alphabetically. You can change the name of this section if you wish, but it will always appear at the top of your site above any dated albums you may have.
