Custom Header or Footer
From Doc
In addition to being able to add custom styles, you can also add a custom header and/or footer to your site. Headers will appear above your site title.
Creating a custom header or footer
- Login to the web client (http://www.phanfare.com/login.aspx)
- Click settings on the header
- Click site properties
- Choose Create Custom Header/Create Custom footer (depending on which one you are trying to add)
- You now have three options:
- Browse to upload a custom header file you have locally.
- Enter the HTML, Javascript or CSS custom markup for your header in the box.
- Enter the Dynamic Markup. This is mainly for webmasters who have a URL to header hosted on their own domain.
- When done, hit next to preview your header/footer If necessary you can adjust the height here.
- Save.
Tips for sizing headers/footers
If you would like your header or footer to be viewable completely by most people, then keep it narrower than 968 pixels. If your header or footer is designed to be enjoyed even when cropped left and right, such as photo montage, then you might want to make it 2000 pixels side since there are large displays that are this wide.
Phanfare web albums always display the full width of the browser. Hence, it can look odd when a narrow header appears above a very wide page.
Requirements
Using a custom header or footer requires Phanfare Pro.
